the internet serviced for the army at beginning.then they open it for people.then we have the stronger internet now.we can talk with our friends,even face to face by the computers,see the TV and news from there.amazing for several years ago.now peole make the impossible thing come true.whatever who invented the internet,he must be a genius.haha he help the world to built the society today.I adore them.
If you ask me, I have to say that the Internet changed my life. Most of influences of Internet are postive for me. Because the spread of Internet in China in the late 90, I could use Internet to touch the whole world. I used internet search informations to finish my graduation project and paper. I use instant messaging tools to contact with my family and my friends everyday whatever where I am. I found my job via an online job advertisement website. And, I almost can found all informations what were I want to seach by Google or Wiki. It give me lots of conveniences on my work and life. That's why I said the Internet changed my life.
Of course, Internet have some negative influences to me. For example, I always sleep late because I spend too much time on my favorite website.
The way I see it, the Internet brings you wider sight because of a lot of information. Not only people get latest news, but also they could watch many point of view in the world about the same news.
For example, as a Japanese, I watch Japanese news generally.
However, I can also read and watch websites of BBC, CNN, New York Times..e.t.c, which give me different viewpoints about the news. And those plural viewpoints help me to think about things deeper.
Although there are many junk information on the Internet, it would be a good training for you to try to find something real.
the way i see it, the internet has been a great or a terrible invention but this depends in the way you use it. it is an excellent tool to find people that you have not seen in years, in the case of socials networks. It is too to be updated about news in the whole world and also to give it a good use to find some important information about jobs, place of interest, etc or keep intouch with your friends on the chat when you are not in the same city or country, like in my case.
on the other hand, it could be a terrible invention when the internet becomes more important part in your life than your family. For example, spend time in your computer while your child or your husband are in front of you and you do not even pay attention.
so, i think that is why everything depends in the way you use it.
